Last time, we talked about how fortune telling predicts a person's personality "type," their ability "inclinations," what they consider important or "correct," and even their thought patterns. So what can't fortune telling based on birth date predict? It predicts the "level" of ability. For example, "being able to integrate two or three disciplines and being very good at self-presentation" can be predicted. But such a person could be someone who dropped out of junior high school, went into business, and eventually became a factory manager. Or they could be someone who earned a doctorate and became a well-known scholar because of their better oratory skills than other lecturers. What's the difference? First, family background determines whether they can focus on their studies without having to support a family. This can be predicted to some extent. But a "wealthy" family background—whether the parents have millions in savings or the person already had millions in pocket money during high school—is a completely different world! This difference cannot be predicted. Fortune tellers adjust their predictions based on the person's appearance and demeanor; or they use supernatural powers to see things; some are just hindsight, trying to justify their predictions. The result is an effect of "very accurate predictions." But the most crucial point is that his IQ cannot be calculated. IQ represents language ability, memory, and calculation ability. Some people know they can't succeed academically, so they work instead, only to discover they have a talent for business and strategic thinking, thus becoming bosses. Those with high IQs naturally use this advantage to pursue doctoral degrees, and then, due to their personality, become public figures as university lecturers. IQ levels cannot be calculated. The extent of family wealth cannot be calculated. Whether someone is handsome or divinely gifted cannot be calculated. Whether someone has "some opinions" about art or is a genius cannot be calculated. Whether someone has a rich imagination or became Harry Porter cannot be calculated. The "inclination" can be calculated, but the "degree" cannot—that's the point.
