The Seven Luminaries and Four Auxiliary Stars system can be considered a comprehensive and powerful divination system, integrating the essence of both Chinese and Western divination. Firstly, in terms of astrology, it shares the same origins as Indian and Western astrology, using the 12 houses as a framework and then making predictions based on planetary aspects. It can be said that it possesses the foundations of both Western and Indian astrology. What Western or Indian astrology lacks is the Chinese system of the Five Elements and the waxing and waning of the four seasons. These are core judgment methods in Chinese divination, used in the Seven Luminaries and Four Auxiliary Stars system to determine the waxing and waning of planetary energy, surpassing the judgment methods of Western or Indian astrology. Furthermore, the Seven Luminaries system also includes the 28 Mansions, celestial transformations, and the Eight Characters and their palace interactions. Its sheer size is unmatched by any other divination system. The remaining systems will be discussed in future articles.
