What we lack isn't sexual partners, or even marriage; what we lack is an intimate relationship where we can illuminate each other and truly nourish one another. Sometimes finding a partner isn't difficult; what's difficult is connecting emotionally, finding the dependence and compassion that follows the initial passion. This world has plenty, because many things can be obtained through our own efforts. The only thing that requires a bit of luck is having a loving and devoted partner.
