In the I Ching, none of the sixty-four hexagrams are purely inauspicious. The most difficult hexagram, "Kan" (double water danger), has the following interpretation: "With sincerity in one's heart, one's actions will be virtuous." Even in dire straits, as long as one maintains righteous thoughts, one can find a way out. As the saying goes, "There is no dead end in life; a righteous heart leads to success."
